Mr. Williams said, "They're right next door, Room 43, Mr. Ellis. You're dismissed."

"Okay, sir." Jim said, as he got up and left the room.



As Jim entered the room, he saw that it was already filled with a dozen different people.

Six men were dressed in black suits labeled CC.

Six men were dressed in gray suits with no markings.

One of the men in gray suits came up to Jim.

"Hello, my name is Mr. O'Brien. I assume that you are Mr. Ellis."

Jim shuddered inwardly at his voice, but gave no sign. "Yeah," he said, "But you can call me Jim."

"Sure thing, Jim. It looks like you're the leader of the CC group."

"Yeah, maybe. Are you the leader of the-"

"No, I'm not. Our leader is on his way."

The door opened, and everybody turned around, as a man in a gray suit entered.

"My name is Dr. Commander. I am here to lead our force. Will Mr. Ellis please step forward?"

Jim stepped forward. "Yes?"

"You are to lead the ChageCorp group. We are going to have a full-on assault against the Literary Guardians Inc. Home Offices." He explained. "Is everybody ready?"

There were various "yeses" around the room.

Then the following happened.

Dr. Commander whipped a strange, electronic device out of his gray suit.

  1. *In a flash of gray light, they reappeared outside LG.
  2. Suddenly, a holographic image of the LG offices was projected by the device.
  3. It was a weapon, stunning all except the men in gray.
  4. Something else.
