I've taken the liberty of booking a church for you - having first checked up on your and Jim's denomination, of course - and also a venue for the reception. As you are going to be very busy with the wedding arrangements, Mr Ellis, we are letting you take the next two weeks as vacation, starting from now."

1. *We cut to two weeks later, with Sharon - wearing a beautiful white wedding dress - walking down the aisle on her father's arm.
2. Jim and Sharon go straight to a lawyer as soon as they have left the building. Surely the terms of Jim's contract must mean that it isn't legally binding? In which case the wedding will be off.
