Sharon awoke to the brand new day.

She smiled to herself.

In a time not too long from then, she would be marrying Jim.

She smiled again, only wider.

She remembered that she had to take care of something, so Sharon got dressed and left her room.

"Rick?" Sharon asked. "Rick, do you want me to make breakfast?"

There was no response.

"Rick? Are you here?"

Still, no response.

Sharon looked around, but her living room was completely devoid of any activity (except for herself).

There was no evidence that Rick had visited her, let alone slept on her couch.

"Rick?" Sharon asked one more time.

But he was gone, and Sharon knew it.

She was also afraid that she wouldn't see him again.

However, she was wrong about why.
1, Sharon has been transferred to this alt, providing a definite Alt-location for the wedding.

2, Rick is involved somehow.
