Rick




Rick woke up to the sight of a brand new day.

The word sight is used, because the sun was blinding him through the window.

He got up and looked at the clock.

"Damn, it's late." He muttered.

He went over to Sharon's room, and noticed that the door was closed.

"Hey Sharon, are you decent?" Rick called out.

There was no response.

"Sharon, can I come in?"

Still nothing.

"Sharon, are you okay?" Rick asked. "Sh-Sharon...?"

Rick slowly opened the door and looked in.

There, on Sharon's bed, in Sharon's pajamas, was Sharon, with a gunshot wound to the head.

"Oh God, oh God, oh God," Rick began muttering to himself.

He ran over to the windows and closed the blinds, to be sure that nobody could see the body.

It didn't even occur to him that her condiminium was on a second floor, so nobody would be walking by.

But it is fortunate that he did so, because he noticed a small bit of illumination from a corner of the room.

Upon investigation, he discovered a slightly glowing orange orb, lying on the floor.

"What the fuck?" Rick asked himself, since nobody was around.
1, Rick may be implicated for the murder.

2, the location of this episode should be a bit of foreshadowing in and of itself.
