Conrad Volkov once said that Alts can be created through time travel.

There's a theory that this is how the Alts we know are so closely grouped together.

There's another theory which states that this is why this group of Alts is collapsing together.

The portal opened and closed, but not before permitting a small group of people to travel through it.

"Henri!" One woman enthusiastically exclaimed.

She ran forward, and they hugged.

"Uh, could I have some clothes over here?" Karen asked.

Two UNA agents got a coat and gave it to her.

"Um, where are we?" Sharon asked.

"We're in the Second home Alt of the UNA." A man said.

"Why the second?" Sharon replied.

"The first Alt collapsed."

"Uh-huh." Sharon said, pretending she knew what he meant.

"We'll let you rest now." He said. "There'll be a debriefing tomorrow. Johnson, could you show them to the guest quarters?"

Another man steppped forward, and led Jim and Sharon down the hall...
The Previous Alt... You know the one...


Williams, a scientist, and a handful of guards poured into the room, just in time to see the portal collapse.

"Damn! They're gone!" Williams cried out.

"Do you know where they went?" The scientist asked.

Williams was silent for a moment.

"Yes, Cahncav. I do." He slowly replied. "Prepare to open an inter-alt portal."

The scientist, Cahncav, walked over to a panel on the wall, and began adjusting the settings on it.

He paused, and looked around when he heard a beeping noise.

There was a crackling sound, and then every single light in the building clicked off, along with all electronic systems.

"Oh, hell." Williams muttered. "An EMP device."
