As the duplicate of Melissa lay on the ground just having given birth to another of these duplicating alien seed plants, she shuddered in equal parts passion and relief. These plant borne dopplegangers resembled their original hosts even every possible regard, copied molecule by molecule, they retained the exact outer appearance of the females they duplicated or were modeled from and even managed to sport the same memories. As far as they knew, they were the original and the temporary shock at being copied as well as apparently birthing one of these plants allowed enough distance for both the original and copy to be unaware of each other's presence if nor indefinitely, at least for a few hours.
As Sharon's naked doppleganger began to stir, the pod Melissa noticed that their was another naked woman in the room with her having just spotted the pod Sharon in a the seated fetal position all these duplicates come to being in. The pod Melissa recoiled at seeing the tendril from the main plant pull out of the Sharon clone's stomach and leave a perfectly formed navel in its place. The pod Melissa, still not realizing she was a doppleganger began to think that this was some of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" scenario and the plant she had just given birth to was part of whatever this alien copied woman next to her was a part of.
At this point, the newborn plant began to stir. Unknown to the pod Melissa or the pod Sharon, these plants had a natural life cycle. Their life cycle was to find the dominant species on whatever world they came to and find the female. They exploited the reproductive system of the female in order to give birth to additional plants, which they were unable to reproduce and had to exploit the reproductive system of mammals to do so. Paradoxically, the plants, once having sprung from a creature capable of birthing retained the genetic structure of their "parent" and were able to use their eggs to create a perfect replica of their host in order to have a fresh host available for further reproduction. Since the copies were exact, that meant the plant based duplicates were designed to be impregnated by these plants and fear triggered a pheremone which alerted the plants to the presence of a potential spawning partner.
As the copied Melissa backed away, the plant she had just given birth too wrapped its freshly forged tentacle around it's "mother's" ankled, dragging her down. Melissa #2 opened her mouth to scream, only to have it met by a third tentacle which soon gagged her. As slime continued to pour down the glistening naked body of the still mindless replica of Jim's girlfriend Sharon, Melissa's double had been rounded by the plant into a seeming doggystyle position as she bucked up and down being ravaged by the penic shaped bulb of the spider plant she had just given birth too. Tears dripped down her face as she thought of the first time the original Melissa had been raped, thinking those memories were her own. Melissa opened her tear stained eyes to see the twinned naked form of Jim's girlfriend Sharon make her way towards the bathroom where Jim was bathing the still out of sorts body of the original Sharon.
Finally after a seeming again, Melissa dropped to the floor, coughing up the gooey bile she had just been impregnated and probed with. Melissa turned her naked glistening body over and pushed down on her belly to force th remaining bile out of her throat and stomach, with drops still dribbling off her bee stung lips. After several minutes, Melissa turned her naked hourglass frame over to the vicinity of the spider plant, where she saw a pistil had burst off the plant and bgeun to write and be pumped full of a substance similar to that which she had just vomited all over the hardwood tile floor of the apartment. Melissa made her way slowly to the pistil, now cocoon, and touched it. It felt like warm human flesh, not bones but flexing muscle. After a few moments the bud began to clear and saw a form inside it, but it was hard to tell because of the liquid inside.
Suddenly, she heard the sound of a loud stalk being broken as the cocoon, which had been suspended a few feet over the floor by the strength of the tendrils suddenly crashed to the floor and burst open. Gallons of the syrup like sap of the cocoon flowed out of it which caused Melissa to loose her footing and slip. As she got up on her bare feet, Melissa uttered a sudden gasp at the sight before her.
Sitting in front of her was a living mirror image of her form, a 5 foot 7 inch naked woman with long brunette hair a patch of pubic hair identical to her own with her own hourglass figure and wide angled hips sitting in fetal position like a bloom on a rose waiting to open. This Melissa looked at her newborn duplicate and saw a stalk of the plant still attached to her abdomen like an umbilical cord and her lips began to quiver.
As the original duplicate of Melissa Kendall stared intently at the newly forged naked duplicate of herself, little did she realize that getting up to go to the bathroom in the adjacent room and headed directly toward them was the real Melissa Kendall. Once Sharon and Lisa had left the campground, they realized they were 20 miles away from the hospital and Melissa had asked if she could just spend the night as she and Lisa took the guest bedroom as Sharon stayed up to wait for Jim.
Just as the plant pulled it's stamen from the newly forged navel of the 2nd duplicate of Melissa, the original pod born Melissa blinked as she realized a third Melissa had just come into the room.
"Oh ... my ... god" said both Melissas in unison "Who are you?!"
Just then the third Melissa stood up between the 2 of them, naked, silme covered and wet, twitching with her eyes closed as she was getting ready to take her first breath an open her eyes thinking she too was the real Melissa Kendall.
