'Girls are confusing.'
That was the only thing that Ranma could think of when considering how his fiancee was behaving so far. Ever since the library, she'd been ultra quiet, which just wasn't like her. A part of him wanted to make a jab at her, just to see if he could prod her to life.
And then his self preservation instincts took hold and he recognized the fact that she would bash him quick if she was taken out of her unsually somber mood. Of course, he didn't know why she hadn't hit him as of yet, seeing as she had prime provocation earlier. When he'd caught her, he'd gotten a nice handful of firm ass, and held her close enough to feel that she wasn't flat. Should the universe want him to get involved, then it'd smack him in the face with that fact. Callousness didn't even enter into it, since she'd likely get mad at him for simply poking his nose into it in the first place.
Besides, he was eating the meal that Kasumi had presented only a little while earlier. As far as he was concerned, it was perfect timing, since he'd returned just in time to get a hot dinner, and when the eldest of the Tendo sisters was cooking, he knew that it was good. Heck, his old man was willing to get off of his fat ass and properly sit down at the table for her food, and even for someone who'd run for a bag of chips, that was saying a lot. In fact, he was even willing to grab as much as he could get away with....
"HEY! That's my pickle!" the pigtailed boy snapped, glaring at his father as he used his chopsticks to block the elder Saotome's attempt to grab the mentioned food item, while:
