Predictably, when Ranma suddenly sprouted two globes of flesh where his manly chest had just moments ago resided, Ranma had to open his gi to confirm what his mind was already realizing.
Then the chase was on, or at least it would have if Ranma was aware that along with his new chest ornaments his, or rather her, center of gravity was no longer where it was expected.
So, instead of clearing the empty, almost dry, pit with her leap, she misstepped and crashed into the other side, sliding down into the remaining puddle of water. She didn't know this was another spring. The guide didn't know either, what with the haphazard method of keeping track of the springs his ancestors had. There were dozens of old springs in the same state. Even if he had known of it's existance, it wasn't possible for them to correctly identify the nearly dried up spring where a Sekirei had somehow drowned within.
All Ranma knew was that when she got out and continued the chase, she was suddenly faster and stronger than she had been as a boy. But she'd forget about it and simply attribute it to the spring that had turned her into a girl. She had a panda to beat up.
