Ryoga need a woman for Ranma, and he went over the choices. 'Kodachi is out due to her madness and creepyness. Ukyo is out because I can't see Ranma running a restaurant. Running it out of business, yes. But not running it. Nabiki or Kasumi might be good, as Mr. Tendo and Mr. Saotome would support it. Not sure if I want to have Ranma around with Akane and Me, in case something goes wrong with the eggs.

"Shampoo. She's a good cook, she's almost as well trained a martial artist as you, and is incredible sexy. The only problem is the fact she turns into a cat. Good thing your love for her allows you to not be afraid of her." Ryoga tried to paint a positive picture for Ranma, and nip the one problem in the bud. As the martial artist in yellow spoke to his counterpart, Ranma's face took on a more and more a lovestruck look.
"If it wasn't for the whole fiancee and arranged marriage thing, you would have jumped on Shampoo as your girl. The trick goining forward is trying to make things work. I'll try my best to help the two of you to get together."
Ranma then spoke, "I know. I gonna have to think of how to move things further with Sham-chan. I'll take whatever help you can give me, but I'll have to see what I can do on my own. Good night."
The pig-tailed fight left, only pausing to look at the tent containing the female amazon. His gaze continuned to linger as he moved on. The fanged young man released a breath that he had mentally been holding since when he had started with the eggs with Akane. He had been on constant alert with all of the things which could go wrong. Even with all of the work he still had to do, he was finally getting what he deserved for how hard his life had been.
"Interesting little game, you're playing young man." came the elderly voice from behind him, which startled him. He turned around him to see who he expected, the elder Amazon Cologne. Which made him nervious since this could be either very good or very bad.
"What do you mean game?" asked Ryoga as he tried to figure out where he stood at the moment.
"Setting yourself up with Ms. Tendo and Ramna with my great-granddaughter. Using the power of the Phoenix people's hypnotic eggs. Luckily, I was the only one around to see it. Isn't it?" she asked him, which made him give her a kid with his hand in the cookie jar look.
"It's just that until this whole fiancee thing is solved, none of our lives is going to move on. Not to say we should all get married tomorrow, but we have to solve it sooner or later." he told her, hoping she understood.
"And if it ended in your favour, it wouldn't be a bad thing. Fortunately for me, you are also ending it in my favour as well. Shampoo getting her groom benefits me as much as Akane falling for you is in your benefit. Which makes us on the same side. Perfect allies. I offer my experience and knowledge at your disposal as long as our goals aligned." answered the three foot elderly woman.
'It makes sense, since the old lady here wants Ranma with Shampoo. Plus with her skills, the only person who could beat her is Happosai or Ranma. It could help with the biggest problems I face. Like Ukyo, Mousse, Mr. Tendo and the Saotomes. Besides, it isn't like we don't share similar goals.'
As he finished his thought, Ryoga said, "Agreed. We work together."
"Good. I'm getting tired of all of the 'marital arts' research my great-granddaughter is doing. Even if she's forcing Mousse to buy it, we don't need a porn collection in the same town as Happi." was the answer.
"Do I want to know?"
"Let's just say Shampoo like any good martial artist is looking at different schools and styles in the marital arts. And leave it with that. I also ask to leave her in the dark unless I tell you. You are right this needs to end, and Shampoo might be too young to form a strong plan."
The two of them began to plan their next moves...
