Robin groaned as she slowly woke up. What had she done last night? Pre-birthday partying? That would explain the massive headache she was feeling, she supposed. Groaning again, she rolled over in an attempt to curl up into a ball, and instead found herself falling out of bed and hitting the floor with a thud. Now wide awake, Robin scrambled to a sitting position, and looked around in shock.
"What the fuck?" she exclaimed. Rather than the queen-sized bed in her luxuriously sized and decorated bedroom, she had been lying on a simple pull-out sofa bed, which was in a cramped little room whose only entryway wasn't even blocked by a door, but a drawn curtain. And even the silk pajamas she always slept in were gone, leaving her clad in nothing but a pair of panties and a tank top, both of which were dirty and frayed from wear.
"Where the hell am I?" she asked, quickly getting to her feet. Noting some nearby windows, Robin walked over to one and peeked through its drawn blinds. Looking outside, Robin saw she was in a trailer park, several mobile homes dotting her field of vision. If she had to guess, she'd say she was probably in one herself.
Robin was starting to panic. She'd never, under any circumstance, set foot in a place like this - they were for the poorest of the poor, not social elites like her. So what the hell was she doing here? Had someone kidnapped her?
Looking around again, searching for clues, Robin froze as she a picture sitting on a nearby ledge. Specifically, a picture of her family, herself included, standing in front of a mobile home, all wearing ratty secondhand clothes. They looked like bums, as far removed from their usual wealthy standing as possible.
"What the fuck?" Robin exclaimed again.
