Nojiko would be the first to admit that she wasn't exactly among the most cautious or responsible people around. However, she realized that before she made any decisions regarding how to use her all-too-suddenly gained Devil Fruit powers, she would have to find out more about how they worked.
"Alright, I know what happens when I draw something, how about when I write something?" Nojiko pressed herself along. The blue-haired woman moved her finger back into the air before her, a bead of ink already beading at the tip. After a moment's thought, she decided to write 'LIGHT' in midair, drawing her finger back once done.
"Woah!" The bluenette exclaimed as her work reacted to being finished. The word, unlike her drawing, remained hanging in thin air; instead, the letters suddenly unleashed a dazzling light, intense enough that Nojiko had to bring up an arm to protect her eyes from the gleam. After a moment, she brought her finger back up to the word, the light instantly going out as the letters turned back into ink and flowed back into her finger.
"Hmmm... I wonder I oould..." As Nojiko muttered to herself, she was already back to writing, beginning to scribble 'I AM' in the empty space before her. However, once she began the 'AM', the 'I' before it dropped from the air and hit the ground below. The tattooed woman glanced down at the fallen letter, noting the reaction and began puzzling out what it meant as she reabsorbed the ink again.
"So, it... doesn't work with sentences, then?" Nojiko questioned. After a moment's thought, she decided to try writing something else, this time going with 'SILENCE'. The instant she had finished, all of the sound around her instantly went dead; the slight breeze, the waves in the distance, the crunching of earth beneath her feet, the slight rustle of her clothes or the leaves of the nearby tangerine trees, not a hint of any of them could be heard anymore.
"..." Nojiko's mouth moved, but no words came out. She even tried to scream briefly, but still no sound. With that, Nojiko reabsorbed the ink of the letters, the many little sounds of nature piping up once again upon starting. However, this time the blue-haired woman noticed something as the ink swirled around her finger, that during brief moments when the ink pressed against her skin, it seemed to take on a color similar to her skin, but as if all detail in it were gone.
"Well, that might be worth looking at more." Nojiko noted. Spreading the ink over herself with only her finger would take some time, though, the bluenette noted. However, an errant movement brought about a faint sloshing sound, bringing her attention back to her breasts, overfull enough that they had shoved their way over her top and into the open.
Remembering the drop of ink she had seen on her nipple shortly after waking up, she tried making them release more. Sure enough, fountains of black began gushing from both nubs; instead of falling to the ground, though, the ink spread solely across her form, not a single drop falling away from her body. When it reached her clothes, the ink oddly didn't seem to stain them at all, it merely covered them like everything else. Within moments, Nojiko's body was nearly enveloped in inky blackness, and it was only moments more before it was complete.
Nojiko looked down at herself, and for a moment, she seemed just like before. However, a closer look revealed that that wasn't quite true. Her skin was basically the same color, but brighter and glossier, and with all minor details and even the tiniest splotches of other colors gone. As she looked down, she noticed that her pants seemed tighter somehow, conforming almost perfectly to her lower body.
Before she could look back up, though, Nojiko took a double take, realizing that her hourglass figure was even wider now, and more than that, her waist had narrowed a few inches as well. She also noticed that her pink lips seemed to have puffed out as well, and were sticking out just enough to be visible if she tried to look at them. As Nojiko moved around inspecting herself, she eventually also began to catch on to how her breasts were bouncing oddly; on top of tiny, barely perceptible 'bong' and 'boing' sounds that accompanied each movement, it seemed as though each bounce and wobble went in the exact opposite direction that they were supposed to.
"Maybe I should find out a little more about whatever this is." Nojiko noted as she turned back to return to her house, stopping briefly to retrieve her tangerine basket. As she began walking, Nojiko found that her breasts and butt were moving much more with each bounce than they ever had before, and the 'boing' noises had grown louder with the stronger bounces, and were now clearly audible. She also began to suspect that her hair was reacting to this oddly as well, as it almost seemed like a single mass, with every strand moving as one.
