The Holy Monkey snapped his simian fingers, and Jim's mind was suddenly expanded as the knowlege of Magik was sucked into his brain.

"Whoa!" Jim said, sounding oddly like Keanu Reeves.

After a moment, he turned back to the small, glowing ape. "But why share this power with me? Why do you want an apprentice at all?"

The Holy Monkey thought for a moment, scratching its head like a chimpanzee, then smiled.

"Because--"
