Suddenly, the door to the room flew open with a clang, and Jim saw an amazing collection of fictional(?) characters.
Gorilla Grodd, Ape-X, Cy-Gor, Monsieur Mallah, and Titano, standing in a rough circle. At their head, the evil ape Shift, whom Jim recognized from the Narnia books.
"Prepare to die, Holy Monkey!" Shift yelled, and his simian shock-troops began to advance slowly toward their prey.
