The Harry-shaped Tonks (Tonks re-created by Harry putting on and apparently combining with a magical skinsuit of the late Nymphadora Tonks, impersonating Harry using her shape-changing talents) was more curious than "he" had been as merely the real Harry Potter, but it took only a cursory search for "him" to turn up a book bound in what looked disconcertingly like leather made by tanning human skin. It was about as big as a short stack of Muggle A4 paper, with not very many pages, those all of parchment. "Harry" opened it and skimmed the short table of contents, and one entry caught "his" eye: Exchanging Your True Body and the Skinsuit You Are Wearing. "Harry" turned to the page excitedly and soon learned that with a wand and two Latin-sounding words, "he" could change permanently (though the spell could be used again) from Harry Potter wearing a Nymphadora Tonks skinsuit to Nymphadora Tonks wearing a Harry Potter skinsuit.
"Harry" put the book down and quickly got undressed, once naked, "he" resumed the brown-haired Tonks form created by wearing the Tonks skinsuit. Tonks tried holding Harry's wand but found that the duplicate of the original Tonks' wand (provided with the skinsuit) worked better while she was herself. All I need to do is point this wand at myself and say Verto Tergum! and I'll be Tonks, a real Tonks, the only real Tonks -- and Harry Potter will exist only as a skinsuit anyone can wear to impersonate him!
Harry-in-Tonks instinctively wanted to use the spell at once and become Tonks entirely for real.
