Robin found her purse. Instead of a Gucci purse, it was an obvious Gucci fake. She looked through some cheap make-up and gum for her keys. "Where are my keys. All she found was a house key. "Where are my car keys?"
"In the pool house, next to the Picasso," said her mom sarcastically. "You left your bus pass on the kitchen table."
Buss pass?! thought Robin. She walked over and saw a bus pass on the table. She picked it up. She did not even know where to catch the bus. She did not want to talk to her "mom" anymore and just left the house.
Fortunately for Robin, the bus stop was visible from her new home. It was in front of a trailer park full of trailers that looked like they should be condemned. Robin sighed and walked to the bus stop. There were a few people there, and they ignored her. The bus pulled up, and Robin got on. "How do I get to 1345 West Canyon?" she asked the driver.
"Lady, I'm not a map, I drive this route," he said, "Best thing to do is just go to the central depot and look at the master map. It's only a few stops away." He looked at Robin's pass, and Robin found an empty seat.
Robin wanted to cry, but held firm. She got off at the depot. She had totally forgotten about work. She found the central map. West Canyon is where here best friend Madison lived. It was an upscale neighborhood where Robin used to live, and the nearest bus route ran a no close than a mile to it. Robin sighed again and found the correct bus. She got off as close as she could to West Canyon and walked to Madison's house. She rant the doorbell.
Madison's mom answered the door. Robin had been close with Madison's mom fore years. She and Madison grew up together, and their moms were friends. "Lynn, please tell me you know what's going on!"
"Who are you, and how do you know my name?" asked Lynn.
"It's me, Robin Foster! I grew up with Madison!"
"Never seen you before," said Lynn. She turned and shouted over her shoulder. "Madison, dear, come here for a moment."
Madison walked to the front door.
