Christina Aguilera was in her dressing room, getting ready to go on stage. She primped and posed in front of the mirror as she brushed her hair. Then an assistant poked her head in the door.
"Five minutes, Miss Aguilera," the assistant said.
Christina nodded her head. She liked to speak as little as possible right before a show, in order to keep her voice fresh. So, after brushing her hair, Christina left her dressing room and made her way down the hallway to the stage.
As Chistina stepped out on the stage, the band started playing and the crowd went wild. Christina stepped up to the microphone and opened up her mouth to sing, but something wasn't right.
"Woof! Woof! Woof!" Christina barked. She held her throat and cleared it.
"Ahem!" Christina tried again, "Woof! Woof!"
Christina didn't know what to do. This had never happened to her before. Why was she unable to sing, and more importantly, why was she barking like a dog?
