Jim walked inside and found a mostly white room filled with conservatively dressed scientists.
"Welcome Mr. Ellis." One of them said. "My name is Mr. Cahncov, but you can call me Rick."
"Hi, Rick. My name is Jim."
"Greetings, Jim." Rick said. "In case you were wondering, I run this department. Here, we formulate ideas and, using help from Engineering, we build them. Finally, we test them with focus groups."
"Yes, I'm aware of that." Jim said. "I knew I'd been assigned to this department, but I wasn't informed where I'd be in it."
Rick looked down at his clipboard.
"Let's see, Ellis, Ellis, Ellis..." Rick mumbled. "Ah, here we are. James Ellis, you'll be working...
