Jim has to explain his plan for the plant

"What's all this about a shop?" Sean asked. "You mean you bought this plant? You meant for this to happen?"

"No," Jim immediately replied. "Well, not exactly. I mean, sure I bought the plant and put it up here, but I didn't plan for any of the three of us to be affected. I put it here for my girlfriend to find."

"Your girlfriend?" the jogger asked incredulously. "You think your girlfriend wanted to be raped and impregnated by some strange plant?"

"Um, it seemed like a good idea at the time," Jim commented.

"What a jerk," the jogger yelled.

"Yeah," Sean added.

1. "Come on, let's get out of here and get as far as we can from this asshole," the jogger told Sean.
2. "Uh-oh, my stomach feels funny," the jogger realized out loud.
3. "You asshole, you're gonna take us to that shop so we can sue the pants off of them," the jogger tells Jim.
4. *"Hey, quit blaming me. It's because of authors like Sean here that I found the plant in the first place," Jim replies.
