Shampoo's Truth: Names have Power! Or at least Nicknames said with the Ring of Truth.

Unending BE - episode 849352

One thing you had to remember with Shampoo is her Japanese was not good, likely because of the short time she had to learn it and the lack of a need for it in a Chinese mountain village. Also she tends to use this as an excuse to avoid using the Japanese names of people.

Ranma was her Ai Ren, a word which originally meant "Sweetheart, Mistress or Lover" but was also use by the Communist Chinese as a gender neutral word for husband or wife due to it having been made up of the characters for love and person. Akane was either Violet Girl or Pervet Girl, the former because she could be violent to Shampoo's 'husband' or the fact she tended to think of anything sexual as perverted. Nabiki was Mercenary Girl due to her nature of making money, and willing to sell people out to do it.

Nicknames, but with the ring of truth on her finger, the minute Shampoo says the words they would become true.

So when the person who was coming into the Nekohaten came through that door, their Shampoo Name would change them.

Ranma would become Shampoo's Husband (No change or change so Ranma accepts that Shampoo is his wife) and/or lover/sweetheart (where he would fall in love and/or lust with Shampoo). Akane would become a pervert, how pervert she would end up was unknown.Nabiki would become a mercenary (A warrior woman who fights in exchange for payment, perhaps?).

Who enters the room?

  1. *Ranma (aka Ai Ren)
  2. *Akane (aka Pervert Girl)
  3. *Nabiki (aka Mercenary Girl)
  4. Another person enters and Shampoo uses their nicknames or gives them one.
  5. More then one person enters
  6. Something Else.
